Maria Laura is a director at Acrux Partners, a consultancy firm specialised in impact investing focused on Latin America and Europe.
She has extensive experience in structuring and advising on sustainable and impact investment vehicles and opportunities. Notably, the structuring of the first two Gender Bonds for non-conventional issuers in the Argentine capital market; the structuring and management of Argentina’s first Social Impact Bond; and advising on the development of the first Sustainable Bond aligned with the SDG Standards for the Development Bank of Bolivia.
Previously, she served as Head of Global Networks at UNPRI and in several global level positions at Christian Aid UK and MSF International. She is regularly consulted by governments and multilateral organisations given her track record in the sustainable finance and impact investing. Notably, she worked as an expert consultant for Argentina’s Technical Working Group on Sustainable Finance, to develop the National Sustainable Finance Strategy , and with the Interamerican Development Bank to develop of the Voluntary Social Taxonomy for Guatemala.
She is a Strategic Business Development Advisor for Pro Mujer International, and since 2024, member of the Advisory Committee of Fundación La Nación and Mayma. In 2023, she was chosen as a member of the 2x Forum, part of the 2x Global initiative, to advise the organisation on gender equity efforts. In 2021 and 2022, she was named Fellow of Practice at the Government Outcomes Lab at the University of Oxford, for her work on results-based financing contracts in Latin America.
She served on the Board of Directors of the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) until 2024 and is currently an ambassador for the organisation. She was also a Senior Advisor on Impact Investing for the UNPRI and for the SDG Impact Standards for the UNDP in Latin America.
She led the Impact Investing National Partner for Argentina and is co-founder of the Latin American Results-Based Payment Network and LatinSIF.
She has an MSc in Development Studies from the University of London; a Degree in International Relations from Belgrano University in Argentina, and has completed graduate programs on: Private Equity at Said Business School, Oxford University, and Finance for ESG Professionals at the University of Saint Andrews Scotland. She lectures on Impact Investment and Sustainable Finance at Universidad Di Tella in Argentina and routinely speaks at conferences or on specialized executive level courses in Latin America.
Flavia is Impact Director at Acrux Partners, where she leads impact evaluation and measurement projects, as well as research and consultancy initiatives. She has extensive experience in the development of social finance taxonomies, having worked with IDB Invest on the design of the Social Taxonomy of Guatemala and the Social Taxonomy of Perú.

Flavia is Impact Director at Acrux Partners, where she leads impact evaluation and measurement projects, as well as research and consultancy initiatives. She has extensive experience in the development of social finance taxonomies, having worked with IDB Invest on the design of the Social Taxonomy of Guatemala and the Social Taxonomy of Perú.
She also has broad experience in the design and implementation of measurement systems, impact evaluations and data management studies, including: the development of an impact measurement system for financial institutions for IDB Invest; an impact measurement system for a financing line of the Banco de Desarrollo Productivo in Bolivia (BDP) to assess the socio-economic recovery of MSMEs; a system for measuring the contribution of the banking sector to sustainable development for the Asociación de Bancos Privados de Bolivia (ASOBAN); and the strategy for data collection, analysis and use of mass consumption prices to inform public policies for the Secretariat of Commerce (Ministry of Production of Argentina).
She led the evaluation of the first Social Impact Bond of the City of Buenos Aires and has worked on the design of metrics, indicators, and monitoring and reporting systems for results-based payment contracts in education in the Province of Salta, Argentina (UNDP), for refugee populations (Open Society), and for the Argentine Food Bank Network (Fundación Alimentaris). She has also contributed to the design of results-based payment instruments in Peru for the Por Más Pago por Resultados Program and WWF, and in Costa Rica with Fundación Caricaco.
Flavia has supported diverse organisations in defining their Theories of Change and in selecting impact measurement indicators. She has published studies on impact investment in Latin America, including analyses with a gender lens in several countries across the region.
She holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires and has completed specialised courses in impact measurement and management at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and at the University of San Andrés, Argentina, as well as in Public Policies for Children and Adolescents with a Human Rights perspective at the University of Buenos Aires. She is also a certified SDG Impact Standards Practitioner by Social Value International.
Magali is a Financial Inclusion Analyst at Acrux Partners. She has experience in consulting, research, and public policy projects, working with national and international organizations, the private sector, academia, and NGOs.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Inclusion and Development from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), and is certified as a Financial Inclusion Expert by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Magali is a Financial Inclusion Analyst at Acrux Partners. She has experience in consulting, research, and public policy projects, working with national and international organizations, the private sector, academia, and NGOs.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Inclusion and Development from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), and is certified as a Financial Inclusion Expert by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Previously, she served as Advisor at the National Directorate of Financial Inclusion of the Ministry of Economy of Argentina, where she contributed to the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, the design of the National Financial Inclusion Survey, and the monitoring of financial education activities. Most recently, she provided consultancy services to UN Women, offering technical advice to financial institutions on generating and using data to promote women’s financial inclusion. In academia, she leads the Executive Program on Financial Inclusion and Development at UCA’s Center for Alternative Finance and is Tutor for CAF’s Financial Inclusion Diploma.
Magali also supports the implementation of financial education workshops in various organizations, convinced that they are a key tool to improve people’s financial well-being and foster community development.
Federica has been working since 2020 as Manager of new projects in Uruguay, and is a recognized leader in team development and facilitation of participatory processes in the area of social innovation, promoting the causes of social impact in the region. Since 2016, she has been working on the creation, leadership and management of the Impact Investment working group in Uruguay, articulating with the different actors at the local and international level and promoting its entry into the Global Steering Group of Impact Investment. She also has work experience working for Microsoft Uruguay and in her own corporate events company from where she has promoted several innovative projects such as Impact Up, Despegados and Human Camp. She has more than 10 years of experience in knowledge management as a teacher specialized in teams and leadership, interpersonal communication and negotiation at the ORT University in Uruguay.

She also has work experience working for Microsoft Uruguay and in her own corporate events company from where she has promoted several innovative projects such as Impact Up, Despegados and Human Camp. She has more than 10 years of experience in knowledge management as a teacher specialized in teams and leadership, interpersonal communication and negotiation at the ORT University in Uruguay.
She is passionate about meeting people who dedicate their time to making the world a better place to live. Federica has a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Transpersonal Psychology. She's the mother of 3 sons.
Juan Savino has been an Advisor to Acrux since 2015, and is in charge of Investor Relations for Lexington Partners in Latin America. Previously, he was a Partner at Altment Capital Partners providing strategic advice to clients. He is also Senior Advisor for ARCAP in Argentina. Previously, Juan was Head of Latam for Sabertia, and Director of Research at the Latin American Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LAVCA), where he created research and market intelligence products for the Private Equity and Venture Capital industries in Latin America. Juan maintains an active role in the Association as an Advisor.
Prior to his role at LAVCA, he worked as a Research Analyst at Bloomberg LP in London and as a Strategic Analyst for the National Investment Development Agency in Argentina, where he developed research to promote foreign direct investment in the country. Juan began his career as an Associate at Aconcagua Ventures, an investment firm focused on Latin America. He holds an MS in Finance from Universidad del CEMA and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de San Andrés.
Juan has a passion for accompanying and supporting investors in Latin America to lead the development of a conscious global financial system, directing resources to businesses that focus on generating a positive impact, and that demonstrate the potential to drive change to develop communities and transform lives.

Constanza Connolly is co-founder of Keidos impacto legal, a consulting firm focused on generating, facilitating and/or scaling the impact of organizations seeking to incorporate sustainability into their DNA, working on building the impact market in Latin America, and developing public policies for the new impact economy.
She co-founded the “Latin American Impact Lawyers Network” to boost impact businesses in the region and she is a member of its Board. She has been appointed board member of ESELA (The Legal Network for Social Impact), an international network which promotes impact business. She is also a member of the GSG Impact Investment Task Force created between Argentina and Uruguay in order to promote impact investment in Argentina. She actively participates representing Beccar Varela in the “Latin America Payment by Result Network” (Red Latinoamericana de Pago por Resultado). She co-founded “Legal Group B” (Grupo Jurídico B) in Argentina, which drafted the bill being presented to the National Argentine Congress for providing legal protection and boosting development of “Benefits Corporations” (Collective Interest and Benefit Companies).
Her practice areas include corporate law, mergers and acquisitions. She has a vast experience in start-up design and entrepreneurship, as well as in business seeking social and environmental positive impact. She advices on the design and development of impact funds aimed at boosting sustainable finance and focusing on ESG (environmental social governance). She specialized in sustainable value chains and complex structures for the creation of solutions for non-traditional figures, including organizations with non-profit and for-profit “hybrid-structures”.
She is the author of several articles and publications. She has actively participated in different congresses and conferences on her areas of knowledge. Her most recent ones include: “Social Enterprise: a sustainable model which breaks through traditional approach”; 14th Argentine Congress on Company Law and 10th Ibero-American Congress on Company Law and Business. Academia B E-books: “Public venture as a development engine for bottom-line economy. A tool for boosting its execution” and “Legislative movement of benefit and collective interest companies (BIC) in Latin America. Analysis, challenges and proposal for its development”. “Share Rights in State and Private owned Companies”; “B Corps: The Company of the future?”. She has contributed to the publication of “Legal Guideline for Social Enterpreneurship in Argentina: Which model should be chosen to create social impact businesses?”. This publication has been nominated for the 2016 TrustLaw Awards in the category “Innovation Award”. Her paper drafted with “Transfo/SistemaB” on triple bottom line enterprises was nominated for this same category in 2017. She was crowned “Lawyer of the Year” at the 2017 TrustLaw Awards, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s annual celebration of outstanding pro bono work. She has contributed in drafting the Guide “Impact Entrepreneurship” (Emprender con Impacto), prepared in 2017 by the Social Innovation Laboratory from the City of Buenos Aires Entrepreneurs Authority and the Inclusive Businesses Department in Universidad Di Tella.
